Reserved a room at Nana hotel for 14 days through the Nana travel agency for 850 baht net. (compared to 1070 baht directly thru hotel). The lady told me in her email that if I stay less than 14 days i'll get a refund with no penalty. Anyone have a problem with them, did anybody try to get a refund. I hate to pay for 14 days in advance and end up wanting to go to Pattaya and not able to get my money back.
Any advice will be welcomed.

You might not want to stay there the full term-it can be a bit of a mad house. The last time I stayed four years ago was kept awake half the night with doors banging and girls screaming, then about 5 A.M. a porter knocked on the door wanting to take my bags as he thought I was checking out. This was followed an hour later by a waiter waking me up with a meal I had not ordered, like I say bit of a mad house-god luck. Never had any trouble checking out of any thai hotel early re not paying for the days not needed-peter

The problem is that making the reservations via Nanatours requires me to pay in advance. If i check out early will they refund me? They said they do, should I believe them.

Be very, very careful of giving them a credit card number. I did once and someone raged round the world drawing the max every 12 hours until I stopped the card. Luckily I could prove I was in Sri Lanka at the relevant time so it cost me nothing but a lot of hassle: the finger pointed at N*n*.

I don't know what they would do as I have only paid in advance to agents like asia travel, priceline etc where there is no refund. There might be a condition they have not told you about such as a certain time period for cancelling days, eg must be at least a week before not the day before-peter

I try to stay at Nana every trip to bkk. The only problem I found is that the rooms are kind of old. I stayed is a superior room my last trip for 9 days. Nice size room but kind of old. The tv was a bit small. The bed was to my liking, could fit myself and 3 girls if need be.
One thing I can say about Nana is you got to know who hand to grease. I start with the porter. Handed him a 500 baht note and I just made a new best friend. He took care of any of my needs for the whole time I was there. I also hired one of there drivers, greased his pocket also, any time I needed to go somewhere he was always available.
Another trip, I was in a large room over the disco. Nice room, and new. Could get any sleep until the disco closed, but who needs the sleep.

BF...Are you really saving that much by paying ahead. Paying the extra few Baht gives you no worry and easy check out.
By the way when I stay there, I never use a credit card, never pay ahead, and never make a deposit, just pay cash at the end of the stay.
Also Nana hotel is not nearly as wild as people think it is. Hell there are always regular tourists, tour group people and even kids at the breakfast buffet every morning.
But the parking lot, that's wild, with a lot of girls parking there and they don't need a car!!
People say the Nana Hotel is old, but always seems they have a new set of roaches.

Location, Location, Location.
If it wasn't for Nanas location, I don't know where I'd stay close to NEP with all that goes on in the small area. As some others have said, the place might be a bit old, but it makes up for it's location.
And now with the swimming pool, and the nice shade provided by the JW Marriot, you can get some good rays till 10am.

Nah, you can get the sun until about 1:00pm at the new pool location at Nana. And now the whirlpool is open too.
Small pool etc but super clean as it is new.
I kinda wish they would take a few floors off of the JWM so the sun would last longer!

I would not pay 14 nights up front as I am sure you will have probs getting a refund if you leave..........
Must recommend staying at the Nana for some nights off any trip 
And also recomend buying a new friend for a few Baht. I stay at Admiral Suites and know one of the security guards well. I tip him a few B when I arrive and leave and he is very helpfull to me........
