I was trying to decide which hotel will be a good one to choose for my trip. I have kinda narrowed down to Nana's, Majestic and Dynasty Inn. Any specific things about these hotels that I should be aware off. Closer to the action is better for me in this case.

I'd probably go with Majestic bro. The ladies know Nana as the boom boom hotel and Dynasty as the roach hotel and either could cause a few dirty looks which may affect your level of sanuk  . Check the hotels topic index because there are plenty of other, decent hotels in the same area. Peace

Hi, can you please elaborate on the boom-boom and are you serious that Dynasty is roach infested !! I was definitely impressed with the Majestic but was wondering if it was close to some of the actions like Annies or NEP ?

Majestic Suites is right around the corner from Nana Hotel and NEP less then a 2 minute walk. Annie's about 5 minutes. MJ is in the middle of everything.
As far as the Nana being known as the boom boom hotel and it affecting the working girls who are getting paid to boom boom. I seriously doubt it. For the most part these girls are interested in the color of your money and how quickly they can make you cum and move on to the next customer It would be different if you were going out with a non working girl but well over 98% of the short term vacationer will never get close to those girls.

Yep, if your here for a short time, but a good time, and want instant P4p on hand 24 hours a day, in the disco, the lobby, the lift, and dont mind things a tad sleazy, - go for Nana - then everyone is in no doubts what your here for, and very easy to toss one out of the room, and go get another ! Think price is around 1000bt - but includes breakfast, if you make it ... not new, but at least large beds, 2 or 3 TGs fit in no problems, good range of cable TV channels for when you need a break -

Made my reservations at Nana, but I keep hearing that they are working on the pool. Is that work generating a lot of noise during the day? Hangovers and construction work don't like each other.

555 - you havent seen thai construction sites ! _ all manual labour, no jackhammers etc - so would think no worries about keeping you and your couple of TG boarders awake - it is still quiet tourist wise, hence the reason you can get rooms easy at Nana now - but also no trouble to walk into some other place nearby if you are not happy -

Frankly i think the Manhatten is the best place About a 7-10 minute walk to either Nana one way or Cowboy the other. I love those walks coming outta of soi 15 which way do I go which way do I go LOL.

I have met 6 or 7 of the bros in Manhattan hotel. Currently 960 baht per night for double incl b'fast.
General opinion is, at the price, it is very fair and guest friendly with good location.
I stayed there a few nights last month, then checked out to go down south. When I returned to BKK, Manhattan was full.
It was late so I went to Ambassador. We have heard mixed views on this hotel but my experience was OK. I had good size room in tower wing.
I assume it would be guest friendly, since I went in at varying times with TG and was never challenged by security. I doubt that security people would know that I had booked double and that TG was my regular. I was never asked.
Booked into Manhattan again next month.
