Mate -
just to update, think Honey is fine for a hotel of its type, say 3 star, rooms from 700-900 baht, include breakfast, no hassle with bringing girls in,has a pool, easy walk to soi cowboy, Asoke sky train stop at the head of the soi along with Robinsons Dept. store - I use it occasionally if need a cheap overnight room for a set up. Similar in price/style is The promenade down soi 8.

Just received some info on new prices for the new year.
room rates are changed since 2nd Jan,2005 as following :
Single Superior 800 BHT /night (on the ground floor & without refrigerator)
Single Superior 900 BHT /night (on the 3rd floor & without refrigerator)
Twin Room 900 BHT /night (two small beds without refrigerator )
Single Deluxe 1,000 BHT /night (on the 2nd, 3rd floor & with refrigerator)
Single Deluxe 1,050 BHT /night (the room facing swimming pool side
on the 2nd, 3rd floor & with refrigerator )
Minisuite 1,300 BHT /night (one big bed with the facility )
Suite 1,500 /1,700 BHT /night (One big bed or two big beds with -
- the facility )
Our room rates have one complementary American Breakfast per room

Incidentally "Ground Floor" means car park! Open yer door and you might get the "benefit" from a tube full of partially combusted 95 octane!

I agree with the brothers comments. Stay away from the ground floor and check your room at check in. Sometimes the furniture isn´t so nice and the AC I had last time was a disaster. You can contact the hotel with this email address honeyho@ksc.th.com

This may sound like a silly question, but I stayed at the Honey Hotel last year. I got double occupancy with one bed and was not charged a joiners fee. If you book a single there at the new rates, do you pay a joiners fee or does it not matter?
