Does anybody have info or experience with the Bavana hotel at Surawongse Rd.
I like also to have info regarding prices and website for hotel booking, every info is welcome.

I stayed there on my last trip out to BKK. I really enjoyed my stay there! I was unable find any website for this hotel - the only info I found on the web about this place was in Japanese  . However I do have their business card - the number is 02-234-4000
Fax number is - 238-1009.
The price was 1200B/night with a 200B security deposit. This was in July. I also think they have VIP rooms (but don't know the details)
They had a 24 hour coffee bar/restaurant which had great food and really cute waitresses (very attentive) and it was cheap as well.
The second floor has a massage center (I never used it but wish I had)
The upper floors (I think there's like 6 floors altogether) are where the rooms are. The were extremely clean and had all the modern ammenities (AC, TV, Fridge, etc...) Good size and suited me just fine. They have safes at the front desk. They also have a couple of computers available for internet use in the restaurant/lobby.
The staff is what made my stay there very enjoyable. They always had a smile on their face no matter how many times you saw them a day. It was definitely girl friendly as well (took a girl to my room almost every night with absolutely no hassle). I even remember seeing 2 Japanese men bring as many as 6 girls  back to their rooms while the waitresses smiled at them as they passed by.
Location was perfect for being close to the Patpongs - Less than a minute away.
The hotel appeared to cater mainly to Japanese men (being so close to Thaniya Rd) but I can't emphasize enough how friendly they were to my friend and I (both Americans).
The hotel is real easy to miss - when passing by, it just looks like a coffee bar/rest. and not a hotel (many taxi drivers and BG's I met did not know of this place).
Bad points - No gym, no pool
Personally I can't wait to go back to this place - at least for a drink or some coffee (many good memories)...
