Planning to be in pattaya for a week in sep(7th-13th)....tried booking a room at both the eastiny ( in & place) and flippers (lodge & hotel).....but was informed that they ar fully booked for the period....can anyone suggest a hotel in the same range (700-1000) close to action

Hey brother Sam welcome to the brotherhood. I'm surprised to hear that all 4 of those places are fully booked seeing as Sept. is also part of low season. I guess things in Pattaya ( And all over LOS ) are finally picking up, even if just a little. Good news for the ladies.
Try the Penthouse hotel on Soi Pattayaland 2. Rooms start at around 750 baht and need to be seen to be believed and from what I understand their new pool was finished last month. Try below for others. Peace

to add to list my list of fully booked hotels...got a mail from apex today saying "fully booked"
Is it worth trying these hotles (flipper, eastiny, apex) for a walkin when I arrive in pattaya when they are saying "fully booked" on mail.....
Has anyone got a mail id for AA hotel....couldn't find any on this site, FLB or scruffy's site...
May be in the wrong forum but Would like to thank BigD for his tip on Alex ....he is picking me up frm bkk airport for transfer to pattaya at 7 in the morning....
Will be doing a detailed FR on my complete newbie trip ( first time stepping out of my country) to LOS for 10 days ....Atleast I owe this much to this board after spending I guess 200-300 hrs here.....

This time, I stayed at the AA Pattaya hotel on Soi 13 and had no reason to suspect that anything would be different. When I checked in I had my Cambodia stash locked in one of their boxes. For the entire 10 days I didn't disturb the stash because I used the ATM machines to get what I needed in Baht. My Cambodia stash consisted of two stacks of $10 dollar bills at $1,000 dollars per stack. When I checked out, I glimpsed briefly inside the zip-up waist band money carrier I kept them in. Seeing that the bank paper binders were still in place, I shoved my stash in my pocket and headed for the airport. Just for the hell of it, I counted the money before I put it in my current hotel lock box in Pnomh Penh. $350 dollars was missing from each stack, for a grand loss of $700 dollars. I was alternately sick and angry but realized I would be pissing in the wind to go back and bitch.

Curious where they're located? Assume they must be in back upstairs or r they behind bar? How's the noise level from surrounding area and traffic?

Can't believe as samtheslave posted, about htls in Sep being full. I'm hoping it's maybe a late surge in activity ending summer as myself have plans for Oct.

Very surprised to hear that these hotels are full.
I would still come and look for yourself as i am sure you will get a room at Eastiny or Flipper by walking in.
I am at Eastiny Place now and the hotel is not full and the whole scene here is very quiet,
Plenty of available ladies and not many punters,
