I am planning on getting an online reservation to Dynasty Inn. Is this a good idea? Any help is greatly appreciated.

actually Dynasty inn was very popular amongst fellow mongers some years back. I am not sure about its latest condition. Most people prefferd it better than Nana it terms of rooms cleanliness etc.

as far as the Dynasty in Bangkok IMO the rooms are dumpy they reek of must and mildew it reminds me of my uncles basement..I wouldnt stay there again..
the Dynasty in Pattaya however is a different story top notch place clean beautiful brand new. great room service. a bit far away from the action though its up on the hill
the 2 dynastys are connected free transport if you book with them in both places
I would be hard pressed to stay in the dynasty bkk again though its rooms are crap

Looks like there is also a new Dynasty Inn, Pattaya at a downtown location in addition to on the hill. Rates are the same at both Pattaya locations. Not any details on their website other than the rate page:

Thank you for all of your help. I think I will stay away from Dynasty Inn. Is there any where that you would recommend that is with in walking distance to the bars and is guest friendly? Thanks again.

Never a problem at the Nana Hotel as far as I'm concerned. In the center of the action. breakfast. And a brand new swimming pool on the 3rd floor.
Its a cliche location for BBK but it delivers, with great action from Angels Disco to bedroom without even stepping outside. Grumpy staff, but they do the job. From 900Baht plus tax.
If its your first time in BBK go for it.

The real problem with Nana is the rooms. You can get better rooms for roughly the same price not having to walk too far.
I did stay at Nana once but the bed just reaker from fellow mongers usage smell (bad experience). Also had a room near the bell hops so every time some rang the bell hop on the floor I was disturbed.
Yes Location is the best but I have never had a TG refuse to come to any hotel because its a little walking distance.
I would suggest Nana only to guys who want to Bang 5 or 6 different TG the same night so that you can reduce the recycle time to head down pick-up bag etc.
Otherwise there are many other hotels that are better value for same amount of $$$
