hi all, in a few days i will be back in bkk and plan to stay for around 6 month. the plan is to study thai full time during 6 month and hopefully find a job at the end of the 6 months ( i am a financial analyst and used to work in trading and with private clients back in my homecountry). anyways, my question: i think about renting a serviced apartment or stay in hotels around sukhumvit during the 6 month. from my experience, it is always excellent to change the hotel when changing girlfriends. tell the old cutie some story about going to phuket, move 3 sois down the road and i am fine. i would hate being in the sack with a cutie and another girl is knocking on my door... i was wondering. how do other brothers avoid this kind of situation. for example, coming home with company and another girl is posted at the entrance of your apartement ??? any suggestions is greatly apreciated. thanks gringo loco

thanks bigd. thats actually a good idea. but if i do that i will spend what i save by using a apartment (compared to a hotel.) the type of situation that i want to avoid is same same as when i stayed in ecuador: gladly i changed hotel a few nights before i left and stayed at my girlfriends apartment. 3 girl actually came looking for me at my old hotel. imagine i was there busy with my gf. and the latinas can get angry and jealous, believe me, i have been thru it.

Go to a hotel that does not let guests up unless they are escorted or approved, then you will have no surprises at your door. The Majestic comes to mind. This might not be feasable for a longer stay.
