A little help, please, with finding a good website to book thru. Pricing seems to be variable from what I've read and the best rates not necesarily offered by the hotel directly. The hotels I'm looking at (again, based largely on what I've read here - thanks) are The Federal, Mike's Place and The Manhattan. Dates: mid-late November.

I've used Directrooms.com for a trip to Hua Hin. Their rates for the Hilton were the best by far and I had no problems what-so-ever.
Their rates include the 17-18% taxes and breakfast. I'm looking at using them for a December trip. Check them out and let us know if you had much success. Good luck, Doc.

The hotel section here, has a "Girl Friendly" list which has a link to a site which lists Manhattan Hotel in Nov. as 760B/880B single /double

Mannhatten #1 here with all Bros. Damm good BKK location but like I tell others matey; BOOK FOR DOUBLE OCCUPANCY cause you will take her back for a room and they will ID her and check.
Just a hotel room though.
Serviced apartments are the way for more than a few days. http://www.thailandservicedapartments.com
Royal Amassador serviced apartments only cost 8000 for weekly 7 days and have good sized rooms. Grand President is gettin old. But Center Pointe Suk 10 is the best for bein in the middle of BKK action; NANA and the Cowboy.

I went to the website you gave for Royal Ambassador and it says 10,400 per week not 8,000. Did I miss something???? Or maybe you have a secret....
