Has anyone bid for a 4 star and what hotels were offered as 4 star

Haven't bid on 4 star hotels, but for 5 star hotels, in September:
Got Shangri-La for a bid of $65 USD
Got JW Marriot for a bid of $55 USD
The Shagri-La was a particularly good bargain since they put me in the new Krungthrep wing. Very comfortable hotel.

It was priceline (US). I just did it yesterday, Oct 14. I actually had to bid twice because my time in bangkok is going to be split by a quick run to burma and both bids of $55 were accepted. hope this helps,

I am not sure if breakfast is included. I assume it isn't as i do not see any mention of it in my e-mail confirmation. taxes are not included.

sounds like priceline.com in the us is about the same as hk. any difference and or benefit one over another ?

I could still get JW Marriot for a $55 bid first week of December. Tried Shangri-La for $65, but was rejected this time. According to biddingfortravel.com, for 5 star hotels in Riverside-Silom area, Banyan Tree is accepting $80 bids now.
