Can anyone please recommend a few clean, tidy and above all guest friendly hotels central to all the action? I would rather be spending my money on beer and women than the cost of a hotel..all sensible advise appreciated.

I Own one of the hotel that I am going to reccomend. I own 50% of the Alamo Hotel on 2nd RD about 100 meters from soi6. Newly renovated 9 rooms some with ac others with fan. No TV OR FRIDGE. Guest friendly and cheap 250 and up per night. Should be open 8 December.
Sky-Top Hotel, 2nd Rd about 50 meters from soi6. Rooms have ac, tv and fridge. New pool table, guest friendly. No pool. 350 and up.

i would recommand Weekend (just next to Big C) or Beach View Hotel (corner of SOi 2 and Beach road). Both are very guest friendly.

There is a demand for fan rooms as you may know there are a lot of backpackers and other tourists with a small budget.
And those who prefer to spend their money in something else....
