I have read all the post I could find on the Majestic Suites Saw a couple that said they had photos and would send to members. I'd be very great full if anyone could be of assistance.
I am under the impression that the hotel is close to the Nana Plaza? Hoping so..I have a late arrival 2300 hrs. And I thought I would walk over to the disco at the Nana look for some T.G. to break my cherry back at the M.S. Is this a possibility? Is it close? Looks close on the maps I have to look at so far. If you have a good site with good maps of bkk please help. The ones I have seen make it hard to get a feel for distance between places.
One more if you guys don't mind?? Do I have to have address, directions etc. written down for the taxis? I was in Amsterdam last month and 99% spoke English. What will it be like in Thailand? And as always thank you guys!!

M S is 2 mins walk away from Nana, just turn left as you leave hotel then take next left before the petrol station and its on your left trust me you cant miss it 
After you have checked in you should have time for a quick beer before the 2 oclock shuffle, I recomend you check out one of the bars just outside Nana and get a seat outside so you watch the girls go by...........
There will be at least 100 girls to chosse from and I kid you not
Re the taxi, just avoid all the people in the airport, exit by the main doors and turn right. go to the taxi booth about 20 meters in front of you and just tell them MS Sukhumvit, they speak good english and they will write the address down (in Thai) and give it to the taxi driver....... One more point if the txai driver mentions "take expresway" just say no as there will be little traffic (well for BKK anyway) so save your Baht. Taxi should be arround 200 - 300 Baht

Majestic Suites is maybe 30 meters (if that) from the corner of Sukhumvit and Soi 4. Two minutes walk at most and you're in Nana Plaza or Nana Hotel.
You don't need a Thai-language taxi card to get to most places. The airport taxi desk speaks English and they'll write your destination on the papers they give to you and the driver.
In town, just ask for the nearest intersection or side road you want. All the sois on Sukhumvit and most everywhere else are numbered. To get to Majestic, for instance, just tell the taxi "Sukhumvit Soi See, Khrap" (Sukhumvit Soi 4, 'please')
Just learn to count to 100 in Thai and you're good to go.

Thank you guys you are trully the best!! how long from airport to M.S. at 2300 will I get through customs by 2 am? to see al the action? I read lots of girls in front of the Hotel also! sounds great can't wait going in marchh booked at M.S. for 4 nights then to Pattaya fos 8!!

tip for getting through immigration quickly: as soon as you get to the immigration desks, walk all the way to the far right... there's usually an empty desk there... unless you're the first off the plane off course then it doesn't matter...

A small thing Ramster 5555 the buildings on Sukhumvit at this point are more a collection of shop fronts. MS is one of those shop fronts in a group there. This is just so you don't go looking for a hotel building in the "normal" sense of a stand alone building or expect the foyer of the Hilton. I usually try to walk into the tailor (?) shop next door when I return to the hotel later in the night.

Yup, the one to the left of MS (as you face the building) is Majestic Tailors. Same color scheme and same owners, I think. Is the tailor's shop guest friendly?

In contrary to previous suggested, when taking your taxi from the airport, do go via the expressway. This will cost you onnly 70 Bath (30+40) and will save you some time. Also I suggest that you direct the taxi to Soi 6. This way it can exit again on Sukhumvit and stop in front of the hotel, it will save you dragging your bags through the crowd. Enjoy!
