looking for a swank serviced apt for a weeks stay...already tried center point apt in silom
looking for new experience
any ideas?
also, at the saphan taksin stop
right were you get the chao praya ferry
there is a building with the greatest balconies
over looking the river
does anyone know anything about this building?

The last time I was there, I stayed in Chin House Service Apts. Its not by the river but location is great. Its just walking distance from Patpong. The rooms are really big - ideal for a family. Dont have the address but you could try chinhouse.com.

BK, need your help. How far is the Riverfront apartments (Rama III) to Saphan Taksin? And how easily accesible is it from other parts of town? I notice it's quite far down south.

Guess that you mean the State tower with the 'Sirrocco Dome' restaurant on top. Included in this tower is the 'Meritius Suites' serviced apartments. Looks nice, rather high priced. Belief they start at B 4000 per night.
If you need info, I live around the corner, I can walk in. (For long term I can even offer a 1 bed room apartment here. Not part of the Meritius but privately owned. PM if interested.)
