All things being equal, which would you prefer to stay in if you were going next week? I'm leading towards Honey, because of the whole construction mayhem by Manhattan and reports of critters and such., but I can't decide. You all can just go ahead and do it for me!
Mind you: I'll be in need of a pool, so this IS a factor (which is better?)...

I have stayed at the Manhatten and looked at the rooms at the Honey. I would take the Manhatten if you can get a room away from the construction and with a king bed.
I had 3 rooms in 4 days and just couldn't seem to get that combination as above so I moved. Has a very good breakfast at Manhatten also if you ever get up in time to eat it.

Thanks, everybody, I've settled on the Manhattan, as it appears more modern, etc and I'm an extremely sound sleeper. I'm also a construction guy, and actually enjoy seeing how things are done when abroad -- 2 years ago I spent like 3 hours watching a 7-floor construction site in Phnom Penh because I was so fascinated by the way the building was going up -- suffice to say, OSHA would have shut them down before the foundation was poured -- it was unbelievable.
So the Manhattan it is, and T minus 5 days to boot!
Thanks again to everybody's advice leading up to my trip.

You just might get your wish. When I checked in and opened the drapes at 10 pm after 21 hrs of travel there was a crane about 10 feet from my window and people were still working on the sight (no heavy equipment at that time though).
PS make sure you book online to get a good price

When I stayed there 1st week of Dec. Yes there was construction on Sat. Yes they have inroom electronic safes. And Yes they have A/C
