I've decided on the Majestic Hotel for my first trip to Bangkok. What are some of the best bars and MP's near the Majestic?

You are around the corner from Nana Plaza, so go ahead to Angel Witch, Carousel and Mandarin. Other favorites include PlaySkool where you will find the twins.
If you are in Soi Cowboy, try Long Gun, Suzy Wong and Midnite Bar.
Best massage parlor would be Plaza Entertainment which is at the junction of Makasan Road near New Petchburi Road.

Other massage parlors you should visit are along Ratchadapisek Road. Poseidon, Mirage or Emmanuele.
And since you are just oppsite Sukhumvit Soi 5, you should visit Gulliver's Tavern and on Soi 3 Bamboo Bar where we will be having the next RT on the 19th.

And lets not forget the beergarden on soi 7. Next soi over from Gulliver's. No bar fine and the BG are good to go for 500 s/t and 1000 l/t. I always liked Annie's MP 100 meters past Nana hotel make a right a Rajah Hotel and walk 50 meter on the left. Majestic is in a great location.

Thanks for the advice! My buddy and I will be arriving on May 21st and Leaving on June 10th, so we'll have 20 days to enjoy Thailand. Maybe some of us could meet up.

Not much new info, but I'd have to agree with BK that Plaza Entertainment is awesome. Even Cupidy downstairs had a lot of hot girls for the taking. Just be sure to bring some serious dough to Plaza, as they wanted to charge me a cool 4K for the "supermodel" or whatever category. I think that included the taxi and farang charges though, so maybe you can find a way around that shit. Be sure to also check out Rachada if you're really into the massage scene. It's certainly worth the taxi ride.
