Ok! Greetings to all!
Fisrt and foremost let me apologoize if I am breaking protocol by posting this on under the newbie forum. I tried to do so in the Hotel Channel but there is not posting button. I am not sure if with time and moderators help me by getting me approved and then allowed to post there or I missing a button on my browser.
Second hang on to those Flamme throwers. I did my search like I am suppose to so I don't get any of that "UTFSE" but my results are of no help.
Here is my question about hotels,
Tawana Ramada in patpong, I read in other postings that they are girl friendly and there was no problem. Please can someone who have stayed there in the last months update the info.
Distance wise I beleive the Tawana Ramada is near Patpong but for those that want to play in soy cowboy and NEP is it the distance an issue or a tuk/taxi ride away too cumbersome?
How far away from the main MP strip is it?
If staying in Pattaya Amari Orchid resort how does management feel about Girl friends coming along?
Do you guys know if this hotel is close enough to the MPs? Sabailand, Sabaidee, And others?
Once again I hope I did not pissed anyone here but I have been waiting for some sort of magig e-mail announcing me that now I can post away in any channel but none so far!
I am planning to play in middle of May and I can't wait to get my research all done and hop down to LOS ;-)

If you want recommendations, post info about your budget, your length of stay, and your primary interest:
- Soapy/Oil MP's (please specify if you know which ones)
- GoGo Bars (NEP, Soi Cowboy)
- Freelance Bars
In general, it is best to stay near the BTS Skytrain if possible.

Check out http://www.pattayapages.com for up to date info about Pattaya.
Not many guys have stayed there as it's pricey for Pattaya. Nice looking hotel. Hard Rock Hotel is guest friendly as long as you book a double.

From Tawana Ramada in patpong, you can get to NEP, Cowboy, easily via BTS. As far as massage wise, Baron is also near BTS. With the new Subway system, You can change train in Asoke, which will bring you to Ratchada which has all the hi end massage parlor.
Otherwise, You can always get Taxi to go to New Cleo, Champ, Mona Lisa, CP2, etc... But with traffic in bkk getting worse every year, it might take you a while to get there. Good luck on your trip, I will be in bkk in May as well and it will be hot.
PS. As far as Amari concern-- I have the impression that amari hotel chain in general is not girl friendly.

I stayed at Tawana Ramada for 5 nights last June. It's about a 3 minute walk to patpong, but not within walking distance to NEP and SC. Take the BTS if you make the cross-town trip during rush hour.
On Saturday night, I was stopped by a security person at Tawana Ramada who requested a joiner fee. I protested that I had booked for 2 people, and they let me register the girl on the spot, without having to pay extra. I don't know how much the fee would have been.
The other nights I brought different girls in and no security person was there. Many hotels seem to be hit-and-miss like this on joiner fees. Now I only stay at hotels I know are guest friendly, because I don't like to deal with these suprises.
