As we may have to eat sometimes  may I advise afternoon tea at the Dusit Thani -> delicious and cheap (200 THB++).
Other suggestions welcome !!!

If your on the prowl around Sukhumvit area, had to go pass the restaurant in the front of Foodland, soi 5 - open 24 hours a day, food generally fresh/cheap and quick. The Italian place outside the Nana train station, by soi 7, not bad also - good on pastas, but the other food can be a bit ordinaire .... If your here long term, and miss some decent farang food, I rate the Icelandic Cod, beer batter, mayonaise, veges, chips or mash etc. one of the cities best meals, cost 200bt - at a small Thai/farang restaurant called "I-sarn Inter sud tee dee" - on popular soi Rangnam, owner Dave is ex US, been here forever, about a 5 minute walk from Victory monument skytrain station, 200yrds down Rangnam on the right hand side, if you come in off phyathai rd.
