The drive-in "acommodation" is the "dark side" of Playboy hotel. Each of those rooms got a simple kinda Gynaecologist chair in it. The experience is kinda weird but its nice if you would like to eat your girl. In my particular case a f_cking session is better done on the bed.
I've tried a couple of times Penthouse Hotel as well (next door of Playboy Hotel) and also saw those "chairs"....Have fun.

Thanks, Turist...in case Pinga didn't make it clear, the Playboy is a short time hotel, complete with curtains over the carports. About 280 baht for 2 hours.
Very convenient to the Grace Hotel coffee shop, which seems to be enjoying a resurgence. In the '70s and '80s, it was THE prime pickup spot.
Also convenient to Bumrungrad Hospital, in case of a mishap with the chair...

Hmmmmm Playboy is not entirely a Short Time hotel. Playboy Hotel got a very interesting distribution of its facilities. In fact, the ST room from the "drive-in" "darkside" is, as you mentioned, around B/. 280/time. However, if you walk-in through the lobby to the front desk you can get an ST room for B/.340/3 hrs., which will lead you to the facilities on the second floor. Nice rooms and very clean. A mini bar with always 2 bottles of water CRYSTAL brand for free. Rooms are, in my opinion, much better than the ones I tried at Nana Hotel e.g.
Moreover, if you would like to get one-day accomodation or a "long stay" at Playboy Hotel, they will charge you B/. 720/day. In this last case the rooms are in the other side of the hotel, same second floor, but never used as ST acommodation. Do not confuse this hotel with ASOKE PLACE (juntion Asoke Rd/Soi Cowboy) or the like, which are almost totally devoted for ST only....
