On my last trip to Bangkok (4 months ago), I stayed at the Ambassador Hotel. One of my friend suggest me this one. 1700bath/night at the tower.
The hotel seems girls friendly, I stayed there 5 night and brought a different bird every night. The only thing is the long corridor between the door and the elevator. Peoples starred at you while your passing with your... toys. Depending of the guard at the elevator, sometimes the girls had to leave their ID. I got piss the first time but realized that it was for my protection. I even got cut in the elevator with my hand in the cake, I was too drunk and forgot to select the floor where my room was. We started the preliminary right after the elevator closed. We were quite surprise when the door re-open, on the first floor with the guard right the other side of the door. Oh well, I'm sure he saw worse 
I'm planning a second trip in 2 weeks and booked that hotel once again. I did a search for this hotel and I couldn't find anything ! As anyone of you had any bad experience with this hotel before ? Is it still girl friendly ?
I also stayed at the Nova Lodge Hotel in Pataya, 1000 bath/night. Nice hotel and girls friendly, hit the receptionist, she worthed it ! I booked there also.
