Hi guys have had a look through the threads and the only info on Baiyoke Sky seems to be a couple of years old. Am going to be in LOS from 12th and have been booked into this hotel. Can anyone please tell me (nicely and in the spirit of friendship) how guest friendly this hotel is and where the nearest action is located.
Hey Bro, Stayed there my First time in BKK in April 04. 500 Baht Joiner Fee. 60 Baht cab to Suk - BTS is far away. Rooms are decent but overpriced - can u cancel - there are better options - see forum. CZ
Have stayed there a few times...not too bad. They do ask for a name if you book a double, just made one up. Was questioned once but told a rather nosy desk clerk that she had 2 names.
The rest of the staff were cool. Had good fun with the night porters etc who gave me a bit of stick over too many women. Picked a girl up fron the beergarden Soi 7 who unexpectedly found waiting in the lobby for me the next day at 4am as I staggered in with someone else They enjoyed that
Rooms are Ok...the view is spectacular. Good market nearby and a reasonable Indian restaurant. Rooftop bar worth a drink before going out.
Not my first choice but certainly not my last.
Would give it a go personally, you can always move on.
