Can anyone please give me any info on the swiss park hotel soi 11 Sukhumvit.
Is it girl friendly and how does it compare to other hotels in the same area?

Stayed there last night.
Clean, extremely girl friendly.
I booked in alone and checked that a "friend" would be welcome. They did not even ask her for ID when we returned later.

Stayed there in July.
OK hotel, can't say anyting too bad about the place. GF for sure. I made the mistake of booking in as a single (Thought taxi guy had squared up the finer details) and they wanted me to pay joiner. Said no and the compromise was to pay additional 200 baht a day. Forgot to check my receipt as it was 5am in the morning and lack of sleep, so can't say what I did end up paying.....
The girl leaves her ID at the front desk or they did photocopy it one night......
I only paid 1500 a night (plus 200 for double) which was for an executive room.

Very decent hotel in an excellent location 2 minutes from Nana BTS station. Clean, bright accommodation. When I stayed in May this year there was a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke in the rooms - had to change the first within minutes of arrival - and downstairs lobby. Reception staff sometimes included a couple of good-looking girls in grey suits with short skirts showing great legs.
Booked online thru Sawsdee.com 1250 Baht per night for a double, enabling me to bring ladies back with no questions asked. A single was 1150B so I figured no point in penny-pinching.
Excellent multi-national buffet breakfast included with eggs cooked to order.
Across from the hotel is a Comfort Inn where I experienced a superb foot massage, actually falling asleep. Also the President Inn - a regular hotel or rooms by the hour place is a few metres back up toward Sukhumvit. They operate an internet café and have a massage service that offers anything from a useful 15 minute shoulder rub (50 Baht) up to 2 hour oil massage (400 Baht). Only 2 girls though, well one girl and an older woman working 12-14 hour shifts.

Must be guest friendly, this comes off of the web-site...
...It is also within walking distances of famous night entertainment areas of "Nana Plaza" and "Soi Cowboy Alley"
My first choice, Manhattan, was fully booked for the end of Jan, beginning of Feb. so I chose Swiss park instead. Booked through BKK tonight it was only 1300 Baht for a double.

Yes, there are in-room safes. I stayed there two nights from 29th December, the first night with a FL from the Soi 7 Beer Garden the second night with my Thai G/F before leaving for Phuket the following day. No problems with Hotel security or joiner fees. In fact, I'm one of those guys that prefers the security guard to take the ID cards, but they didn't do that with my girls.
I was in an Executive room, which was all they had during that peak time. It was clean and comfortable. Would stay there again happily.

I stayed a couple a years back, thought I was quite nice, good location, but book a double, I only booked single and got charged 300 bht or something when I took a girl back, but 300 bht is bugger all.
I would prefer the Manhatten though, better value

SWISS PARK HOTEL
Just returned from a 3-night stay there.
Had booked myself into top floor 18 (a suite) and found the hotel quite allright.
Room-safe -yes-, clean -yes-, service -o.k.-, girl-friendlyness -top- !
Value for money: allright
Location: -top-
check-in / check-out: -perfect and fast-
Only to mention on the negative side:
- difficult to find out about lighting, electrical switching (TV, etc.)... after 3 nights I knew (hm)
- no response from the AirCon when tried to turn it down... has to be done via the controls by the bedsite... after 3 nights (s.a.)
- shower did not work allright, no need to complain but a point to mention.

-> Will stay there again, very discrete, and really the location seems price/value-wise unbeatable.
