Anyone stayed at the Rama Gardens Hotel out by the airport? Is this a nice, recommended place to stay?

Rama Gardens (www.ramagardens.com) is a very solid alternative to the much more expensive Amari Airport Hotel.....the place is nice, surrounded by a large garden and driving range...
Food&beverage are stadards, nothing to kill for...
Rooms are ok...massage service and naughty activities available as usual....
Transfer service to the airport available at no extra charge.....the local gogo area of Saphan Kwai ain't far...
Overall, a nice hotel to stay if you like quite places....

I think they have got old and new rooms. Obviously the new rooms are the one to go for as they are really nice.

Stayed there for 2 weeks in July... you would definetely want to stay in the New Wing... rooms in the original hotel are okay, just old... it is not a walking friendly hotel and you will have to take a taxi to get away from the hotel area... am currently in BKK and chose not to stay there this time... am at the Sofitel Central Plaza (a short distance from Rama Gardens) and much more convenient to SkyTrain and Underground.

Just stayed at the Rama Gardens located 10 minutes drives from the airport (heading toward town). Room rate was reasonable at $88+Tax/nite; the new wing of the hotel was very nice and quite new. Much cheaper than the Amari Airport. Rama has very nice grounds and pools.
When I arrived at 11PM, everything in the hotel was shut down; spa/massage and the business center so could not get hooked up to internet in my room. The beds are (for me) far too hard. I checked out the spa the following morning and found that it closed very early in the evening. No in-room massage. Likey to be straight up massage place.
If you need a reasonably price, new hotel near the airport, Rama Gardens may work for you especially if you like a hard bed to sleep in and no hanky-panky.

I stayed at the Rama Gardens a couple of times over the last couple of months. I can tell you that the massage/beauty centre does offer a full service.
In-room massage is offered and all extras are on offer. I found one real gem here, a bit more mature at 38, but did not look over 30, but the massage was great. Really enjoyable FS, she really gets into it too, including prostrate massage if you like that sort of thing. Ended up seeing her 3 times! Massage 1000 for 2 hours for Thai or 1200 for oil plus tip of course.

Stayed here a few times, always when connecting flights - otherwise you get better in the same price range in town. Have had girls back here no problem. It is a pretty standard hotel, on nice grounds, decent pool, F'n'B okish.
