can the airport helpdesk help me in finding cheap accomodation.i know of several places to stay,but have no email address for these to book.im looking for around 500 baht-600 baht nr the bts or subway.can they help me or do they just do it for the major hotels.reasons for being a cheapy cos I stay for 8 weeks per year.im staying in january so I know this is peak time.any help would be great.the ones I have listed are

Airport helpdesk will be unlikely to have hotels in such a range. they are there to make money and won't get much from that avenue.
However I cannot say for sure, but in my experience the airport helpdesk is a pain in the ass.

2 Sukhumvit Soi 13 (0 2253 0369). Nana BTS.
Rates single B400; double B600.
Worth it just for its general retro chic, the Miami has certainly seen better days, but its ok, pool in the central courtyard. Rooms are plain and old-looking, but large and functional. cut the rates for weekly or monthly stays, and there are quieter rooms on the non-street side of the hotel, and a stone’s throw to Nana SkyTrain station.
Air-conditioning. Pool. Restaurant. Travel agent.
Room services Refrigerator. Room service (24hr). Telephone. TV

Honey Hotel on Soi 19 is 800 baht. It includes breakfast, pool, basic room, free water, and close to the bts. If you stay there for a month, you might get a better deal. honeyho@ksc.th.com
