Staying four nights would like to lknoiw if it is girl friendly? close to malls? subway? skytrain? how far will I be from Nana,Soi Cowboy? hard to tell on map. I got a rate of $60.00 U.S. @ night so I got to take it! Thank you

I stayed at the Conrad for a couple of nights in February this year. It's a world-class property with impeccable service and surroundings. Can't vouch for its "guest-friendliness" level however, as it didn't look like they would be, but others have told be it is as long as you don't make a spectacle of yourself. A short walk to Nana and one hell of a hike to Soi Cowboy.

I did not stay at the Conrad, but went to 87 (bar inside Conrad) one night and hung out in the lobby a little bit. I think there is a definite possibility of the walk of shame when you bring back a BG. There's a shopping mall that you can access directly from the hotel lobby. I don't think it's a short walk to Nana from the Conrad and the walk from the hotel to the Phloen Chit BTS station is not as short as you think, but you can catch a free bus from the hotel to the BTS station.

You can get a cab for a dollar back from Nana to the Hilton. It takes a little longer and costs slightly more to go the other way because of the one way system.
The Hilton is a six star hotel (far more plush than a similar sort of place in Europe) with a bunch of bars and loungy areas in and around reception where hi so thai girls are taken by expats to sit around drinking seven dollar cups of tea and ten dollar G'n'Ts (in most non-hi-so places a drink's a couple of dollars). They can tell a BG from a non BG at a glance (though not always a BG from an LB, ha ha!), as, indeed, can most people who've lived here for a while.
So, if you like the idea of walking through a posh lobby with everyone looking at you knowing that you are taking what they consider to be a cheap street whore to your room, with the girls giving you a sneer and the boys pretending that oh, no, THEY would never do such a thing, then go for it (and why not? Most of the expat guys there shag BGs, though in polite bangkok expat/hi so society you are as likely to admit it as you would to admit you are a whoremonger back home).
But apart from the fact that everyone there will think you are a scumbag (not for shagging the BG, but for taking her to somewhere inappropriate), you are also likely to get that horrible sinking feeling of realising that the girl that looked such a beauty in the bar suddenly, in comparison to the exceedingly elegant and beautiful non-BGs in the lobby, looks a little bit skanky.
And if you do end up being invited to a party where hi so girls hang out (and put out), you'll end up paranoid that you've been spotted at the Hilton!
So, personally, I'd either get a room in one of the fairly reasonable monger hotels (or bog standard four star business hotels where hi so girls don't congregate) or take her to a short time hotel. Well, I'd take her to one of the monger hotels that are discussed on this forum as they have a culture all of their own and are quite an experience if you've never been to one before.

Good Hotel...Good breakfast...Suk 3.....10 minutes walk to Skytrain...5 minutes to Nana... Joiner fee Bht 500. They will make your life hell for bringing BG/TG even if you are willing to pay the joiner fee.

Stayed at the Conrad before. It's sort of "girl friendly". Let me explain : they won't stop you but there will be 2-4 well dressed "management looking " guys hanging around the lobby and the elevators at night to kind of " keeping an eye". So if you are a "defensive" kind of guy, you may feel really uncomfortable. I just walk right by them as if I have the god given birth right to do so. Never got stopped by anyone. The rooms are fantastic. Beuatifully appointed. The see-thru' bathroom really impressed the heck out of the BG's. The buffett there is to die for especially the chocolate deserts. I think the chef is a Austrian French. For $60/night you are paying like 1/2 price. How did you get it ?

The "Walk of Shame" is very short. If not too late can enter from second floor of mall to lifts, thus avoiding the "Walk of Shame".
