Could anyone who has stayed in a "Deluxe Room" as well as a "Regular Room" at the Nana describe the difference in the rooms for me? Also, how much more is a deluxe over the regular room? Thanks

I've stayed in a standard, deluxe and suite at the Nana. The deluxe is a little larger than the standard, enough to accomodate a small couch and coffee table. The suite has a separate bedroom from the "living" room and a roomier bathroom. I often choose the Nana for convenience and usually don't bother with the deluxe or suite rooms. BTW there is some variety in room shapes and sizes within each category.
According to their website: standard = 1100, deluxe = 1500, and suite = 2100 - 3000.

In the "Deluxe" rooms, the roaches are guaranteed to be no more than 25mm long. Roaches in the regular rooms may be up to 75mm long.

Deluxe room has a bigger and nicer bathroom. The best thing about the Nana is the location. The restaurant is good also...

Is the Nana Hotel good at honoring their online bookings?
I booked with them directly from their web page. I'm going to be arriving late (flight arrives 11:30pm ) and don't want to have to hunt around for somewhere to sleep. I would like to just check in and run over to NEP for a quick drink and relax after the flight!
I'm only a little concerned because there was no deposit made/required when I made the booking. I later found other sites where this could be done. But, of course, all their rooms are booked now ( hopefully that includes my prior booking ).
Anyone ever had a problem with them not having a room for you when you booked ahead this way?
Does someone have a good backup Hotel that will likely have rooms at the last minute, if I do have a problem? Some GF of course  .
I'll be arriving on the night of Nov 15/04.

I booked through their website back in September and I arrived at 11pm too. No problems reported. I have heard of other people booking through other websites to save a few baht and then having problems at the desk.

That makes me feel a little better about it. I just hope there isn't any problems as they will be moving into the peak season. I was also surprised that the confirmation email they returned to me didn't have some kind of reservation/booking number to reference when I check in.
Another question; does the Nana care whether or not you've booked a "double occupancy" when bringing guests back to your room? Should I expect an additional charge?

With all the love going on in each room, snail trails must be all over the place. Use a black light (CSI) in the rooms and all the snails trails look like a giant bowl of spaghetti. Body fluids all over the place. 5555!

The Nana is a Dive with a capital D! Avoid it at all costs! Only redeeming feature is the Car Park after 12!
