Hello bros,
Would appreciate some recommendations regarding a guest friendly hotel in the 1500-2500 baht range (at least 3 star) in the Ratchada area. Preferably closer to a subway station.

I've a short stay at the Palazzo in '03. Location wise it's pretty good if soapy is your choice. Its a 2 min walking distance to the Subway MP btw. The room I have is huge although its not in the best of shape, but its not too shabby either.
If you going to stay there, make sure you request a room at the higher floors. There is a night club/KTV on the 4th floor and the music is really loud that you could probably hear the sound two floors up!
The restaurant in Palazzo is pretty good too. The room comes with buffet breakfast which I think is much better than most places that I've stayed before while in BKK. The buffet lunch is also excellent, expecially when it cost for less than 300 baht

I stayed at the Merchant court hotel in october
They let the massage ladies come in and out but if you take someone in after 9 pm they insist on a 800 baht fee ! (even if it is double occupancy) - did not pay this time but it is now printed on their key envelope - unlike last year - so maybe not so guest friendly after all
