I am visiting Bangkok soon and will be staying at one of the above hotels. which is the best in:-
1. terms of Girl Friendly ?
2. terms of facilities ?
3. Which is cleaner ?
4. Better location for night life
Any other info from your own personal experience of the above hotels will be greatly received.

Well as the saying goes....... you pays your money and tekes your choice.
Both are guest friendly and close enough to the action. If I were to choose, I would lean towards Majestic. But no big deal either way.
Majestic is nearer to Nana, GP nearer to soi cowboy, but to walk from Nana to cowboy is only about 15 minutes.
I suppose you have checked their web sites.

Thanks for the feedback.
The thing that appeals to me with the President is the swimming pool and gym, I like to work out. Do you know if these facilities in particular are any good.
If staying at the Majestic I will be taking a Double Superior, I have heard the rooms are very small, does upgrading make any difference.

Well. GP wins for facilities if that is what you want. I never actually tried the facilities. I am usually working when in LOS so all my free time is spent in bars, not gyms.
But I think Majestic wins for being smaller, friendlier and right on the main Sukhumvit road. And yes , it is worth going for the superior room.

Just spent 4 days in bkk. Stayed at the Grand president .What a fantastic find. Big double services rooms. All facilities available and really cheap. Very clean and most importantly guest friendly. Girls just had to hand in there id's to security.

I have always stayed at the Nana Hotel Suites, but am looking at the Grand President. What kind of rates did you get there?
Also can the girls just come up to your room if you call them without coming down and checking them in?

The GP is better by far, better and bigger rooms and better facilities. Both are well located Majestic better for Nana, GP for SOI 7 beergarden, Clinton or Soi Cowboy. Both are near skytrain. For me there is no competition. I stayed in GP last time my friend booked at Majestic, he was upgraded to superior, but as soon as he saw my room he moved to the GP.
