I had one of their deluxe rooms, it showed some age but wasn't run down.
It's just a few minutes walk from Nana, guest friendly, no in room safe but has deposit boxes at the desk.
The staff was very friendly and professional at all times. Called to make sure it was OK to let my call in date come up stairs.
Free breakfast - very good. They serve up both American and oriental styles.
My 2 Baht worth.

 4500 is for Fortune hotel but not for Fortuna soi 5
around 1000-1500 /night, don't remember exactly

4500 Baht for what Shamas described would appear to be insane. 1000-1500 seems more reasonable and realistic.
Their prices, according to their website, are 1500 for a standard, and 1800 for their delux room.

Fortune Hotel (rachada - rama 9 intersection) is 1250bahts a night at precisionreservation. Don't know where you got these 4500 from.
However, I don't know if it is girlfriendly.

Has anyone stayed at the Fortuna Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 5? I saw this hotel during my last trip to BKK. I usually stay at the Ambassador or Manhattan and was looking for something different. I was wondering if anyone knows the rates and if it is guest friendly.

Stayed there in March. About 1500 baht for suite. Very spacious, but old. Hotel restaurants not good.
Girl friendly: I am waiting in the lobby for my freebie from Baron's to come over, when I see two hotel staff carry a deaddrunk TG into the hotel and up to the guest room with the guest walking beside... talk about girl friendly!
