I checked in to Woraburi (Sukhumvit, Soi 4, 1 mile from Nana Plaza). They do say that a guest will be charged 200 Baht (well, I will be charged!).
But I can pay 100 Baht more now to cover any future guest.
This is new. At the beginning of the year, they made no mention of this new policy.
It is true that I was never charged extra when I was there last month.
The question is: are the hotel trying to discourage guests?

The tiles in the hallways are getting wornout with all the bar girls high heels clattering hell out of em!!!!!Mind you at b200 a go it's going to take for ever to replace em. Like the b100 hotel fine before scam though.
I stay in a suite hotel so never have the surcharge problem.

I did get an email reply from them and they did stipulate an additional charge for a second person. I don't remember exactly how much it was, 200Bt or so.

Stayed there last november, checked in 1 person, being me, saw mention of guest-charge, had bgs stay with me the next 3 nights, saved the charge, but was not asked nor bothered for it, and we weren't exactly sneaking around, having breakfast 2gether every morning in the hotel (missing the coupon-timeslot time after time tough, but that is another story...  )
