Can someone tell me about Shangri-la, is this one the best in Bangkok?And more important how about bringing gals and ladyboys in there.Is there president suites in this hotel?Many questions,but it very important and urgent.Any info is kindly appreciated.

shangri-la is indeed in the top-tier hotels of bangkok and being in the same class as orientel, dusit thani, peninsula, etc. i don't think they're too keen on the "guests". i am also sure that they have presidential suites.

well, don't take it de facto as i have no experience taking a girl (or girls, in your case? nice one!) to shangri-la. it's all about the reputations for these 5-star hotels. perhaps arrange something with the bellboy (ie, nice tip)?

Check in as a double. If you take a girl from a bar and she works there you don't need to have her ID checked. If any problems, you know where she works and they know her. At the hotel, security will check a list to see if your booked as a double. Should be no problem. Plan B: book a S/T hotel room.

Hi Rami
Perhaps you have already figured this but when I had regular TG in BKK, she always booked into my hotel. I always asked for additional room key for her and usually got one, particularly when the "key" was a swipe card type, not an actual key. Then there was never any problem in any hotel that we stayed.
I'm not suggesting you give your "pick-up" a room key but to have a key to show hotel security might be helpful

Has anybody actually stayed at the Shangri La? I will be staying four nights in a few months and was thinking registering my regular TG there - will most likely spend every night with her so there should be no problem, right?
She dresses nicely and is about 3 months older than me - never had problems anywhere.

Stayed many times and never had any problem bringing a girl. But they will take her id at the reception and give it back to her when she leaves.
The real 5* hotels (Hyatt, Regent, Shangri-La, etc.) do not add any surcharge for any guest that comes to visit
