The standard is shit, with cumstained walls.
The deluxe has a larger nicer bathroom, maybe a view and a couch, separate bedroom with another TV. There is a larger dinette type area as well.
The sweet is down a long hallway, mmm, off like the fifth floor or something. Huge room, I remember stretching the tv cord so I could watch from the bed. Raised dinette area, couch, and a window with a view.
I have had them try to sell me a standard, calling it a deluxe, and have made reservations a month in advance and when I showed up to check in and they looked at me like I was crazy, and with even the Internet reservation confirmation they refused me a room. Other times they'll diddle around for like 5-10minutes watching you squirm, then come up with something.
The Nana is finicky with the desk action. The Great Haam Sup said it the best. You show up, take what they give you and be grateful for it, otherwise, don't expect shit.
The proximity to the action, and the breakfast buffet, (with the paper), are in some masochistic way, all worth the effort. Plan B is always across the street at the Dynasty, Where the rooms are 1000 baht, without the pool of course.

Yeah it's finished and looks really nice but the water is warm by 1.00 p.m - your almost better off have a cold bath in your room
