hi guys,
i've made a reservation to stay at nana hotel in august, for 12 nights, it's £200. i've just looked on this sites links page, and i clicked on " budget sukhumvit accomodation ". it brought up a hostel on soi 11, which works out £100 for my stay! now thats better pricewise, but would anybody say it was as good as nana safetywise? are the hostels as safe as hotels? locked rooms..etc?

I think I've read somewhere they are not guest friendly. You can't bring in a guest from what I remember.

Did you book thru the Nana hotel web site? They have rooms for 1000 baht per night.

I used to stay there for the past two years, and i got careless and left my wallet out and got ripped off for 1000 baht and them she had the nerve to deny it and then ask for payment. She got pissed and called the manager and they argued for 10 minutes, so finally i kicked them both out and they went downstairs to argue with the ID guy who never carted her. Scam, I think so. Well I explained to the manager that I was disappointed in the service and my trip in August will be spent at the Dynasty Inn. I do blame myself for the theft but the system they have in place is not working. But I still love Thailand
