Hi,
I have stayed many time in Sukhumvit with 5* hotels. Just like to know if there is any 4* hotels around that matches the quality of Merchant Court at Rachadapisek Road.
No willling to pay as much as 5* but looking for at least same quality as Merchant Court.

Yes, but Landmark cost USD103 at least and Merchant Court only USD69...

JWM jacked their prices 20 bucks a night starting in February. I used to get a corporate rate of $95 (before tax), now it is $115. That does not seem like much but it is a couple of bar fines (at least at Cowboy).
SGS is about $20 more than JWM and Landmark similar to JWM.

I pulled a quote of US$100 (GOVT rate) today for stay in February at Westin Grande Sukhumvit. SGS came up with US$125 (GOVT rate).
Anybody got any intel on how good AAA rates are? I recently became a member, and every time I check the rates at SGS, WSG and even JWM, they are all sold out for the dates I want. Is it really a major savings, worth the effort to keep checking?
