I was in BKK last month, stayed at Emerald hotel. I walked to Mirage MP, right after walking up the stairs, there is a big room in which I saw many people (mostly locals eating and drinking with girls), there are some girls singing on a stage and guys came up to hand them a number - jus as if they are voting something). The girls in that room (and some sitting at the door of that room) are the best looking Thais girls at Mirage (better than even the models). I've asked the Papasan and was told that those girls are not working. Who they are and what they are doing there? Any bros can shed lights? Thanks.

I have not tried them. They are are good for the company, but I suspect they can be very expensive if you want to take them out and have fun with them. Of course, if money is no object, then go ahead. I have not tried Mirage, but if Emmanuelle is any indication, you could be looking at say, 2500 B to take them out, and then possibly 4,000 B - 5,000 B for the night. Heck, if that the type of girls you like, go for it. Alternatively, you can get to know them first, and then get their phone numbers for a private rendezvous elsewhere.

I think ABC could elaborate more on this subject as this is one of his favorite places, je!
However, this approach will cost you a bit Ilovelos. Last time at Emmanuels the TG I was with (sort of hostess at the karaoke lounge) told me that she would request 4K if I would like to sleep with her. You should add to this amount the "bar-fine", which I guess could be around 2-2,5K for theis kind of up-scale entertainment complex. I didn't ask about the "bar-fine" (Members Club-fine??). However, if this is the type of TGs you like, go for it !!......although I do prefer the "private arrangements"....

I am not sure how much more help I can be. I've never taken any female out from the Karaoke lounge.
I've talked to one and got a "digits", but from the conversations, it really sound more like a long term endevor. Which also means that it "could" get pricy!! she initially said to call her and that she would come and meet me and go out. I had to press to find out what that meant and how much. Finally she said 4,000 to go out to dinner, movie, dancing, and maybe sex. My feelings were that she really did not approach it from the money for sex side, and then I knew I was in for a long seige on the castle .. so to speak!! ha ha ha ha!!
Not that money grows on trees ... which is does not ... ha ha ha ha ... but .... I really did not want to invest that much time into something that might or might not happen. I want to know what my money is being used for and the expectations that go along with it. So, the 4,000 for the night, but that means dinner, dancing or a movie and maybe sex .. did not really completely phase me.
Did not even get to the bar fine, since she never brought it up.
I guess I am not as "smooth" as pinga, since the one he talked to said 4,000 and you can have some "action"!! ha ha ha!!
Besides ... since it is located in the mirage complex, you can contract with one of the females from the MP for the night for the same price and you know what you are getting.

Enjoy the place and Know a few of the gilrls there. They do not draw a salary and are totally dependant on tips. How it works. The girls will sit with you and chat with you and drink with you. They will then go on stage and sign and if you enjoy her company, you tell the papasan how much you want to tip. he will then garland the girls with a kind of flower.
The longer, the more the tip. If no tip, she will move on to the next table. Most of the girls have regular customers. Be mindful, the routine will repeat.
As far as I know and the ones that I got to know, they are not hookers. Some are studying, some are married and some single. They come and go to work as they wish since the do not draw a salary.
Most do not speak english. Why I like the place? i enjoy thai pop music, practice my thai and have company to go out. I do not pay them when going out and they do not ask. Of course, it is not a pay for sex for me. Movies, dinner and sometimes i cook at home and send them back home. Some of them drive.
The girls have become sort of friends. have not been there for 1 month as the girls can get possesive when u go there. i prefer to meet them now outside of work.

Excellent point. One that I did not clarify in my post.
The female that I talked to did not come off like a typical working female. Meaning just like Slowx said.
So ... I would venture that "if" you would like to take one out, be prepared for the gf or friend type of relationship and not a "let's get it on baby" type.
Not to say that with some time you could not "get some" though. It's just take more work, that's all.
