Anyone have the latest scoop on when Orbit is going to open up again. I am curious to hear some reports on the whole setup. I will be back in BKK mid Feb, and need to drink my share of membership away.
Regardless of what it is like, I will be sucking down the booze owed me. Just for the principal of the whole thing. Can always use it to get primed prior to moving on to greater things over the course of the night.

The two reports that I heard were either Febraury or March. After driving by the other day, I think March makes more sense. Construction in Thailand is well you know.
I beleive it is going to keep a similar format but add a few things like Karaoke and such.

I talked to a couple of people last night and they are telling me it will open March, probably late. I drove by yesterday and the typical Thai construction workers are doing their jobs; nothing.
I will let you know if I hear anything else.

Damn... I'm just happy it's reopening as I too have an untouched membership.
Have had awful luck in renewing memberships just before a place shuts (Club 20, X Club, and now Orbit)...

Somnomna, 12 days after your post, I could just copy/paste your post, and just change the date...
from what I saw from the outside, it looks like it'll be a pretty different place; more targeted towards elder people, more into karaoke type of place, I dunno... it doesn't look inviting to me at least.
