What is wrong with the Thai police? Why are they closing everywhere apart from Shitty Joesphines and even shittier Boss at 3am. I think Thailand better wake up soon. Tourists will ditch it soon for better places.
First they lose their biggest Golf tournament Jonny Walkers in Phuket to Korea cause of a ban of alchol advertising.
They are soon going to get crushed when Singapores Sentosa kick in next year. Massive casinos, mega clubs open all night and they will be able to attract the big name Djs. Seventeen million visitors are expected. Places like Thailand that are getting left behind already are going to get smashed.

Daffy, the land I got is a LONG term thing, no thoughts of selling inside 10 years, so if it halved in value tomorrow I wouldn't care.
Ongoing plans represent a profit of 12% a year on initial purchase ( lower estimate).
I'm looking at another 15-20 Rai 2007, so I hope land values do decline.
For me Thailand already represents excellent land value in areas in Isaan, so any decrease would make it more so.
Where I live in Sydney prices are around 44,000 BHT per square metre, I don't understand how young couples are suppose to be able to buy a house???

I have to agree with the crowd here. There's too many tourisits here for the sake of us punters. Airfares are up, hotels are up, barfines are up. The prices are higher and the baht you need to buy is more expensive too. It can very easily cost you over $50 for an LT.
f*** a bunch of DJs....I want a cup overrunneth of affordable sex! Those who want golf and good house music can find another country as far as I'm concerned.
