Did anyone tried to look at the fire exit at spice club? Somewhere in the back you would have to climb on a 1 meter stairs to get though a hole at 1 meter high, equal to a square meter. Imagine 500 people trying to get out there.... A disaster to come.. one more

Thailand is a 3rd world developing country, if you expect safety and concern about your wellbeing in any establishment (shopping centers, apartments, hotels clubs, bars etc.) then you're expecting far more than you're ever going to get. The vast majority of these places are death traps waiting to happen, it's all up to lady luck from there.

Interesting enough, I was there about a week ago and the power went off in the place for about 10 minutes. All the safety (battery operated lights) came on and the exits were opened. No one panicked it just sucked that the air-con was off. I would say after a few minutes about 20% of the people left with no bumbling around, they could find the door etc...
