Gigolo bars are a no go in Bangkok/Thailand. No respectable lady in heat would dare to show herself in such an environment.
The passable ones used to hang out in the pubs/bars opposite Lumpine. Brown Sugar springs to mind. I don't know its still there.
There used to be a small bar at the end of the Silom plaza arcade, I believe it was the 2nd floor but I may be wrong on that. I can't visualize it any more and the Plaza is downhill.
The Huntsman pub in the basement of the Landmark Hotel on sukhumvirt used to be know for this.
The oldest gigolo which is defunct now was beside the Manhattan Hotel, soi 15. That hotel was known 15 years ago for these things as was the now demolished Ratchadamri Shopping Mall opposite the WTC but way before that thing was there.
I always saw managers taking care of their personnel very well. Those for whom even seen with a farang in a hotel would be a great loss of face used to be in the Ambassador Hotel lobby but don't ask me how you guess.
In general no Thai lady of standing or even middle class would ever like to be seen by 99% of the bozos coming to Bangkok in yesteryears blue jeans. It's good to dream about making the money but it is out of the question. These ladies are reserved for us, i.e. the legitimate expatriates who worked their ass of in some Thai administrations or companies to improve the country. And, believe me, you know only half of what is going on if you can't get past the bars of Nana or the discos.

Umm, guys, I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but the reality is that the majority of the time, a male prostitute's customers are men, not women. Remember, most women have but to crook their finger at a man, and he comes running, pants down, tongue lolling.
This is something you might laugh at, or be offended by, but it is the truth. Here in Korea, they do have gigilo (argh, spelling???) bars, but they are usually frequented by very unattractive women. The men aren't paid very much (maybe the equivalent of $50 USD for all night) and the women do not have to pay if the men don't satisfy them.
I'm sorry to say that the majority of guys out there have no idea what a woman's hotspots are, and honestly, women practically take classes from the time they are teenagers on how to properly fake an orgasm (no, honey, really, you're *da* man!!!).
It's a pretty well-known thing for women to find a guy that can actually give them an orgasm, and them marry him, so he can't get away.
Granted, if you're with a prostitute, you don't need to worry about giving her a good time (your money will be good time enough for her), but when you look at servicing women as a male prostitute, you have to be *damn* good in the sack, and have the proper attitude, which is rare.
