This Vancouver Jay chap doesn't seem to know what's what. His lot did a very creditable job in World War II, but where has the country been since? If he hails from Vancouver in Canada, he needs to keep an umbrella over his head instead of some where else.
Angels is a very reputable disco with many charming dancing partners. On entering the manager sells a drink ticket and then kindly stamps one's hand to ensure that you never have to buy another drink that evening. Good on him.
My experience is that the Angels lassies are happy to dance when asked and some can be even convinced to go on somewhere afterwards....perhaps for a modest gift in the morning...although the one's that I have have met there tell me that they have legitimate jobs. And yes, the music goes on until 0200 hrs. every night. Its a trifle on the loud side if one ventures too close to the massive electric speakers; but for a chap of my age its a good floor for a bit of a workout if one hasn't had a chance to do some PT in the gym that day. God know what type of music they play... though I don't believe they are waltzes? One just shuffles in the same fashion to every tune...every for the occasional show-off.

Nana Disco, etc... The girls outnumber the punters 5:1. Nana Disco / Love Club closes at 1 AM same as everything else, then the girls work the Nana Parking Lot (NPL, pronounced 'nipple') or stroll in the pussy parade on Sukhumvit.
Long story short, if you wait until 1 AM there's still a lot of poontang out there, you don't have to buy it drinks, you pay less LT/ST and you don't go deaf listening to club mix crap.

Made my debut appearance at Angels on Valentines evening. I had earlier been the now closed beer bars near to soi 11/13 and noticed some vendors with the Valentine red hearts which light up.
So I promptly bought one of these flashing hearts and headed for Angels. Being Valentines night it was quite crowded but OK.
I soon got pulled by a pretty 27yo called Tan, she was a little overweight but not as bad as a falang lady, her looks were great, forget where she came from either Bangkok or Chang mai.
At around 2am we departed to JWM for a bit of action, 2000 long time, I had a good night as far as I can remember, yes, she kept the heart.

For the first and last time in this trip I went to nana disco last nite at 1.30 and the bad surprise is that the entry fee has been raised up to 400 baht,1 standard drink and the same old faces around the place,quality very low.
last but not least, it was infested by the Grace hotel lobby crowd too,never again.
