This is beginning to make sense.
The owner of Club 20 is called 'Ho' - skinny guy with spikey hair. He also owns a number of other places including 'Monroe's' off Phetburi Road. When he closed Club 20 he always said he was going to open somewhere else.
Now I wonder if we can use our bottles leftover from Club 20. Will have to find out.
Thinking of your directions Crash - there used to be a large building around there called something like Longna Bangkok. It was more like a brewhouse. Is this the place that 'Ho' has now converted into Carribean.

Can someone recommend the name of any decent sales ladies at Carribean ? I had a sales lady in Piano that keeps bringing me the leftovers but after I switched to another sales lady I never had to turn down the PRs that she brings over.

I know I've posted this info before but I'll shed some light.
Carribean used to be an old Brew Pavillion type restaurant called Rongna Bangkok. When Club 20 closed, all the girls were asked to work at Monroe, one of the owner's clubs. They all knew that Carribean would be opening about in April and that they would work there later. Most of the gals hated working at Monroe because of the conditions.
I dug out 2 pictures from 2003 of Rongna.

I haven't been back to Thailand since January so I know the place doesn't look the same anymore.
Now if you want a good salesperson for Carribean, go see Pim. She's the 2nd gal from the left wearing a black shirt with her hand across her stomach. Tell her that a Vietnamese guy from California USA says high and she'll be so happy to hear that... PM me if you do.

Thanks badfish for the mamasan info. Was able to make it there with some friends last nite. Here's my lowdown. Arrived about 11 PM and traffic was surprisingly good...no car accidents in front to report. The line of 10 pretties at the door greeting you was a nice touch. Walked in and was overwhelmed by the size, space of the place and the amount of people there. Orbit was big, this place is bigger. There has to be over a thousand people there last nite with only about 25 girls dancing. Was immediately approached by a sales lady...was not too friendly when I said was looking for a friend. Stood there and checked out the place for a bit and we agreed that it has potential so we decided to stay. Drink menus are as follows....2k for bottle of voBKa, gin etc, 3k for JWB, 100 Baht for mixer. 20k gives you 10 bottles of JWB +2 extra bottles because it was a special nite and free mixers. Lady drinks are 280 for 40 minutes.
We got our drinks and was right at the main stage when the shows started. First show was some alien theme with a lady with a nice body and a bunch of gay guys prancing around. Another show was about 20 women in cats costumes. Another one with a bunch of guys juggling bottles. Another one with a magician/comedian. Might have been a couple more shows but I lost interest. Show and raffle must have taken up 2 hours of valuable booty shaking time. Saw a few girls I recognized from Monroe and Orbit. Was trying to check out the PR girls but did not see that many. There were just too many guys and the ones with guys I did not find that interesting anyway. Was not about to chase after the dancers with so many other guys around buying them drinks. Decided to end the nite there early because the friends were itching to go to RCA.
Overall, was very impressed with the place...high ceiling so you won't go home smelling like a smoked chicken. Disappointed with the amount of dancers and PR girls in such a big place. Shows were tedious and time consuming. After last nite, I still prefer Piano for their quality of PR girls, Pent for their girls who are not afraid to shake some booty in your lap. I would visit Carribean only because it's right next door and if I get the phone number to the one of the pretties standing at the door. Cutest thing I've seen at the place...tried to get her number when we were leaving but don't know if she wouldn't or couldn't because of management. She's definitely curious...keeps looking and smiling at me when she was on stage. Will try again next time...what's the best way to get her away from the door? Or just slip her my phone number and leave it up to her... I love this town.
