I think you are correct. It is 10 drinks to take them out. And I thought that each lady drink was about $300 baht per. Which if I can do some simple math would put the total at 3,000 baht for the LT. Ofcourse, if you can get her to go out with you. I think we will be at Pegasus a long time if we want to finish the bottles. I have 10 bottle there!! ha ha ha!!

Droppedby Orbit last night and some changes.
Before entering, you now have to pass through a metal detector (yes, I could not believe and this is the first place in bkk that has it. not even dance fever has it). Must have been a fight before.
In addition, there is now cover. bht 600 for 2 drinks. This is a shame, as it just follows the Forte policy. Apparently, this was decided as some people just buy a drink and stay the night watching the dancers.
First reaction? Prob will not go there as often as I just hate the detector (quite an eyesore) and cover. Maybe its time to run over to Forte to see how things are since Orbit opened and see if they have a swanky detector as well.

Orbit is not the only place with a metal detector. La Lunar has it too. And there is a good reason for that. There have been cases of shootings lately. As a result many clubs check their clientele for concealed guns. In Sparks, they will frisk you at the entrance.
Well, the cover in Forte is just as bad. It is 500 B now. The cover charges seems to be increasing everywhere. I was telling Chris and pinga (on our RT last night) that I will stop going clubbing on weekends. Stick to bars instead.

I personally think that Orbit is definitely the place to be. I am there like every other nite, cos I'm stuck onto one of the dancers...won't tell you who though.
Regarding membership, if you're serious about places like Orbit, Forte and Piano, then I think a membership is definitely the way to go.
Basic membership at Orbit is 20,000 THB, which gives you x bottles of whisky or any other liquor of your liking. X depends on the time of promotion. I think the least you get is like 10 bottles. As for myself I am currently going through my third membership since mid of April with 4 bottles of Johnny Walker left to go.
The other type of membership I know of is the 50,000 THB one where you get lots and lots more bottles of whiskey plus you can sit upstairs. Sitting upstairs has the added benefit of being able to call the dancers to dance in front of you.
You also get a 20% discount applies for all types of memberships, whether it is just the basic type or the VIP ones. Furthermore all mixers are free (soda, water and coke) you can have as much as you want. As a member you also get to bring in 2 more guests free of charge, some say its 4 people not sure on this one have to check it out again. If you bring in more guests you have to pick them up at the entrance, where they are not being charged for entrance, but you will be charged 100 THB for every additional guest.

So what drinks do you usually buy the girls?
I guess I have tried almost all of them and have come to conclusion that tequila and six shots are the way to go. In the past I have been buying them a lot of those flaming thingys (Flaming, Red Devil, B52, etc.) but I personally think that the drinks are too sweet.
Six shots are the best investment, since it counts as only one drink (240 THB). You get 3 shots of fruit juices (watermelon or tomato, orange and lime) plus three shots of liquor (this varies though depends on the choice and mood of the bartenders). The shots alternate, so you drink one shot of liquor followed by one shot of juice. Lots of fun.
Deep throat is also lots of fun. Glas of beer with one shot of zambooka (not sure about the spelling) lit on fire pourred into the glass sipped through a straw in one go. Have a try.
Me and my friends are ususally sitting right next to the bridge at the bar, don't forget to drop by.

I agree that most of the other drinks are too sweet for me. The dancers to seem to like the "blowjob" drink.
I will have to try this 6 shots, just not with tequilla. Just to be clear, you are saying that if I order 6 shots that I will only be charge for one drink??
I will definitely stop by and say hello. Gotta make sure we have many shots and enjoy the action/show on the bar counter!!

Yeah you're right. In my earlier days of Orbit I ususally asked them what their preference for drinks was and most of them seem to like this blowjob thingy right next up to orange juice. They have the blue margarita with whipped cream (bluejob) and the kahlua with whipped cream (handjob). I guess because it gets them less likely drunk and they still get the same share of money for their drinks when compared to other drinks, e.g. voBKa, tequila, etc.
Trust me...the six shots only counts as one drink. Just tell the bartenders how many rounds of six shots you want. In the past they refused to sell this, don't know why. Maybe because the overhead for creating it is too high. But nowadays it seems to be alright to order it again. Maybe too many customers were complaining about it. I mean I was one of them bugging the bartenders all the time to sell it to me. Finally all the bugging seemed to pay off.
Just out of curiosity man, did your girl have braces. If yes, then that would narrow down the scope.

I have tried that "bluejob" drink. Sorry to say, but YUCK!!! ha ha ha ha!! The female I was talking to did not have braces, but that was about 3 months ago and maybe she is not there any more. Since they tend to move around from club to club.

You're right. The girls tend to move around a lot. New here, old there.
These past few weeks they have recruited a few more dancers. Maybe next time you drop by, you might find that the variety has broaden.
I am always astouned that even on week nights Orbit never seems to be empty. Not that it is fully packed like on some Friday nights, but I think that the crowd it draws is just right.
BTW...just renewed my membership last nite - 14 more bottles to go plus 1.5 bottles left from the old membership. My sales person told me that the promotion for July is better than the one for August so I had to hurry.
