i also have a question: objectively speaking, does the Membership Fee thing really work (i.e., profitable long term) at these sort of establishments? I strolled by Champagnes and was agast. no way. and it's not that i'm a super spend thrift or poor. I just come from a different environment (one that is HEAVY on clubs, lounges, cigar bars, etc). entrance was free. sitting around being lame was free. what cost were the booze/food, and the girls. anyway, just wondering as I have had thoughts of investing in this or that while in SEA. cheers.
