I (tried) to ask this question last week to a taxi driver, but maybe I could get more from here....
Is there a difference between Spice, Spicey and now Spicey2 clubs? and where are they?
I believe I walked into "Spice Club" at the basement of the Ambassador Hotel on Suk Soi 11; which was dead.

correct, that one is "spice club".
"spicey" is in wrong muang soi 5.
"spicey2" is in sukhumvit soi 5, above foodland (take the stairs on the left side of foodland).

Sorry Hwa Rang, I can't answer your question. But I will, if helpful, comment that in my experience taxi drivers are better to tell things to (such as where exactly you want to go, and exactly how to get there) rather than to ask.
Not to say they don't know good places or good routes, and cannot sometimes be helpful or that there aren't some good guys (often the older fellas). But I recall my first year in BKK taught me that it's better to know and tell. Some of them can take you the long way round to nowhere in particular while the meter spins and spins.
Directions etc in general I find it's better to ask Thai women, more helpful, than men, who sometimes can't be bothered to think too much about it or provide more than the vaguest instructions. But that could possibly be a deep seated preference on my part.

Thanks for the comment SeaJohn - But (even with my few visits to LOS), I have realised this.
I am blessed with a fairly good sense of direction and with a bit of studying of maps around BKK for the best clubs and hotspots - I feel I am quite capable of navagiting around the city (from the back seat of a taxi!!)
To the amazement of my friend - I was able to correct driver's direction, point out landmarks and entertainment areas.
My question about Spicey club arose when a driver tried to take us to Spicey club - which was (as I can only describe as) an underground club behind closed doors with overpriced drinks and ladies which may be open til 6am. Another club like this is called Lucky club. The exact locations, I am unsure of, but not surprisingly they are near PatPong and CM2. I believe that the taxi drivers get a big commission for taking punters in as they are eager to wait for us until we exit.
I have visited a couple before and they are not worth it! Expensive and no atmosphere of a club.

Open till 5-6 am; starts going at 2. Packed with girls most nights of the week. Although lately a lot of guys as well. Methinks it's getting to popular.
Still worth a visit tho.

to much of a sausage fest lately, BYOG. the girls from cowboy love to go there for dancing and partying if you foot the bills.
IMO best to buy a bottle, you get in 4 people, it's 2500, first mixers are free. they keep it for a month only, but mine never lasts that long.
again, nice coyote line up on stage.
I should be in the coyote business, they are everywhere!!
