I went there again for a look. Same as before but worse! The same girls pretending they are high class because they ask 3000 or 4000 THB, and the same guys (well, maybe worse) with neatly ironed shirts thinking they score with 9s or 10s because they spend that amount of money for these girls, on top of an expensive bottle of alcohol and the price of pressing for clothes
Worse, because more expensive and less fun as before.
But OK, I have some sentimental ties with this place because I met there my (by far!) worst experience in Bangkok! Ah!Ah!Ah!

what pisses me off is the thing that the entrance fee is a ridicolous 650 thb on weekends and the drinks u could get are:
Singha bottle
singha draft
voBKa or gin or sambuca or whiskey shot
while is 350 in the weekdays and the drinks options are still the same!
Anyway the good ole novotel is not really dead IMO !

What a shame to see my old stomping ground in ruins. After a one-year absence I went back last month and I can confirm that there is a huge increase in Arab and Indian clientèle.
The music and the drinks are still (and have always been) atrocious, but the biggest shocker was the sheer lack of talent. I used to find something to my liking on most nights I graced the place with a visit - but on the night in question even Gollum would have gone home alone.
This is obviously consequence of the fact that generally speaking only a certain type of girl will go with Arab/Indian punters: saggy slappers with labia the size of pancakes due to decennia of wear and tear. And them mingin’ Russian sluts of course: all of them gravel-skinned, over-painted chimpanzees who have been hit with the ugly-stick even more then they have been beaten up by their pimp. There is such abundance of these grotesque strumpets these days at CM that at times the place felt like a Siberian gulag – but in a run-down and pink kinda way. They used to stick to their habitat in the far right corner, but now they seemed to roam freely on the whole floor. A modest Stalin-esque intervention might be able to save the place, but in its current state CM seems beyond repair for people looking for high-quality companionship.
