what did I tell you, Abrak. LD drink is going up to 400 bahts. Remember I said this to you a few days ago? "Spot on, Abrak ! There were girls in the old Orbit and now the Carribean that could command easily 5000 bahts ST and 10000 baths LT, don't you think ? Let's say BF of 2000 bahts ( a notch up from soi33 for sure) and drinks 150 for members, 300 for guest and 400 LD. Definitely a market for it if these girls are more "agreeable". It would be just about ok if you are right about the girls being more 'agreeable' but let's face it - this place is positioning itself as an upmarket karaoke bar - aka. The Pent. 'Prick teased' and ripped off in a couple of hours.
It might work but it certainly doesnt always. I remember a certain thread about an overpriced gclub - Veronica Elite. Have a feeling it wasnt a very long thread. To be honest the thing that pisses me off a bit is that I used to like the old Orbit.

Just a thought....
I used to like Orbit a lot. At a point in time was coming every other day. I had 1 Girlfriend there and more than 10 Giks... Actually, just checked my phonebook and its 14 Orbit girls I did shag 
The atmosphere was good, bartender were sharp, would always make you feel home and you could have a great night drinking a lot with yours mates, getting drinks to dancers and still get a 0 Bath tab.
When Caribbean oppened I had a few try (Maybe some of you remember I was the one introducing this place to the forum ) and liked the fact there was so many girls...
Nowdays I reckon Caribbean sucks. I am long time member there (Nothing compare to some thai guy hot shot though) and I know lots of girls and Sales (Did shag some too) but I hate it when you actually have to check what is going on with your tab. I had a girl asking for 1 cocktail that cost me 1500 Bath and last week 4 or 5 B52 and a cocktail that I didnt agree for (Mam, the sales, did order it without asking me). Bill came 5800 Bath....

I never quite like Carribean. It's too big, too open and you are just a $$ sign there. The old Orbit has many "dark" corners even around the bar where many "fun" things could happen. I miss the place even though the $$/f*** there is unreasonably high if you add it all up. I also think the LB mamasan "Benz" is one hell of a mamasan. She quoted me "10000 bahts" LT when I first joined the club and did not know she was a LB. First LB that ever fooled me. I know what you are all thinking : NO, of course I didn't take "her" up.
