i agree with chompoo and zzzZ. most of the girls i've met at a nightclub, i never mentioned money, and they wanted to still come back with me. when they leave, i'd find it a good way to give some money and say its for their taxi or something. don't want to offend them, especially when i am not 100% sure if they are a FL or good girl that was horny.

- Skip .. as a regular forum reader, no doubt you are aware a Guy with 2 heads can get a girl in Nana / Novotel discoes, or in sukhumvit soi 7 - or even Grace/ Thermae if really desperate - as the guys point out [ Chompoo, Supaporn etc. ] it is thye right thing to offer the girl some money, and done as a Taxi fare etc is ideal - OK, sometimes you will get lucky, and she will say not to worry, but probably want to take you to visit a gold shop the next day 555 !! - Have to agree with the pick-up of girls in other places tho, but think "oldhand" has got it wrong when he says Q bar was put there for straight Thai girls / Guys, ask the likes of Mr. Joe, who spent years in the trade, Bars/Clubs are opened because the owner wants to have a Bar, and also wants to make money [ although in LOS this rarely happens] - and any manager / Owner will tell you, to have any hope of success, you need to get young, attractive females into your bar, then the guys, profits, follow.... If those Girls happen to be FL, so what, in most cases, as happens at Q bar, the management shout them drinks !!!

Not quite what I implied, the new crowd to these places tend to include a high percentage of trendy, HISO(hate
that term) Thai's who move on when the sceen changes as it does, QBar,MOS, Rivas and Spasso, I can remember
on Friday night when Spasso first opened the number of Farangs would be no more than 20% max no FL's or BG's. Now apart from a few Thai diners the place is no
more than an expensive version of CM2, with poorer quality. The Bar owner probably has no concern as long
as the cash till rings as it always will if the "Girls" are available.

I think I have a major responsibility for creating this tone of mongers chasing and corrupting the 'good girls' as the Club Orbit thread is going the same way. So I wanna clarify some things. ThaiPrivateEye, Oldhand wasn't refering to the clubs marketing but to our predatory incursions into the 'hiso' clubs which might as well be termed the 'goodgirl clubs' for our P4P pleasures and maybe our ruining the scenes there via mongering. Well, as much as I'd like to take that "Prof. monger" reference as a compliment I'm far too amatuerish to warrant it. Newbie, remember? As MrJoe implied, concerning himself (at least), there are amongst us some retired and semi-retired mongers who probably enjoy the camaraderie and intelligence reports but don't practice or 'pratake' regularly. Sure, I'm generalising but as for me, and I can only speak for myself afterall, if I were to be categorized or profiled in the forum it would be as a strictly out for fun amatuer who's gonna play only so long as he gets hitched and then sit out the game. But! I am also ever so thankful that I discovered this forum BEFORE I came to LOS as now I have two pursuits in mind when I arrive again. I WILL be hunting the 'good girls' for a bride to be hookup one of these days AND also relishing the pleasure of the FL, MP scenes. BEST part of the whole deal is my perspective, having returned from LOS once is now, "what's the rush? plenty of gorgeous honeys to keep me company until Mrs. Right comes along." ANd either side I play I plan on being honest AND showing the utmost respect, because in my book they're every last one of 'em angels and worthy of repsect. What Bullshit, the Q-Bar started off just as Bed is, full of western minded Thai girls from middle/high class families intersted to mix with like minded western ferangs and local thais...........after a few months the hookers move in along with the boys and the majority of the legite Thais move on to other pastures not wanting to be tarred with the same brush.Simple as that if any of you guys want legite relationships and all that goes with it better forget about spreading your wild oats around town free or otherwise. Get real.
bravo! I truly admire your candor. as in the "where is the hi-so bar near the whateverf_cking marriot thread", sure some of these newer clubs will attract the younger and trendier "hi-so" clientele. TIT after all. it's all about the "image" and social groups for thais. of course, when "us" whoremongers get a whiff of where all the new fresh meat(the elusive hi-so non bar working girl but who has a dubious character to f_ck on first sight), we bombard the joint, making it another q-bar.
what's the solution? IMHO, stop confusing these places with nana, sc, pp... treat them like a "chic" trendy discoteque back home.
there are multitudes of p4p joints (mp's, gogo's, and karaoke) yet we still want to feel what "some" of us can't have back home... picking up a "fine" girl up at a club in our home town... hate to break it to ya, but it's pretty much the same here in regards to the elusive "hi-so" girls.
we have the option here in LOS: f_ck at the drop of a couple K's or go out dancing in a "normal" discoteque with that being the main purpose. IMHO, stop trying to mix the two. unless you're decent enough looking to pickup hotties back home, don't expect it to be that much easier here with the "elite hi-s0 model who entered the supermodel of the world contest".
sorry... money won't "buy" a hi-so girl like it would a BG, nor could it make up for youth/looks. reality comes to play in these joints...
