I've went to Carribean twice over the last week only because my friends work there. But to anybody thinking of going, let me offer my opinion on this place. I really can't understand why this place gets so packed but it does. The drinks are expensive. The girls are all money sucking leeches and play the guys like a Fischer Price piano. It's hard to mingle and the girls that go there are not of much quality anyways.
I've been going to a lot of the local clubs like Slim, Route 66, Cha-bar, Booze, etc. These places are half the price of Carribean (ie. Slim Johnny Walker Swing 1900B, 4000B at Carribean). Plus you don't have girls trying to suck you dry of cash. Then every night I've gone to these other clubs, I've mingled and met really hot chicks and have had a great time with them and made some friends in between.
The Go-go thing is kinda novel at first, but it gets old really fast. I get nothing out of that scene anymore. The poor guys chasing the girls at these places need to get a grip on reality because the same way they've got you, they've also got someone else and then some sponsors. Trust me, I know.
If you've got a little game go to the real clubs where the local young crowd hang out at. Otherwise, go to an MP if you wanna get laid. Don't waste your time on these girls at the Go-gos. I KNOW too many inside stories that really kinda piss me off to be honest with you... Guys that go to that club chasing the same girl every night and getting nothing or getting played real bad.
This trip to LOS is so much more fun now that I go to these other clubs. I hang out with locals, they never let me pay for everyone and prefer to share the bill. The wallet stays fatter, longer and you have more fun.

I agree with some of your general comments about these 'coyote ugly' style clubs.
(1) They are expensive compared to other more local places. Booze and even Santika have JW Whisky for Bt1200. However, prices are cheaper if you get a membership - seem to remember a Bt20,000 membership at Orbit got you 10 bottles and 70 drinks.
(2) The girls are generally a prick tease. (That said I spent much of xmas with guys sporting Orbit girls. In one case I can guarantee it was the girl getting played and not the guy!)
I am also not a great fan of the Carribean because of its location, it is too big and the entertainment is quite frankly - crap. However, I do think these places can be fun - Forte has good entertainment, fun girls and a good crowd. You used to be able to say the same about Orbit too. Many TGs prefer these places to being surrounded by hookers at the likes of Q Bar or Mystique.

If you take it for what it is worth you will have a much better time. I go into places such as Resort, Orbit and Carribean knowing what they are and how the girls are and come out smelling like a rose. Orbit closing has been the best thing to happen to me.
Anyway, think of it from the dancers perspective. They know the dudes who go in there for the most part just want to have sex with them so they exploit it. I agree with AB about the location though.

There is only one way to "play" with these girls at the "gentlemen's club". You go there, pick the one you really like, make the highest offer you can afford right off the bat. If she doesn't agree, move on. Do not linger and keep buying drinks thinking you are scoring points with these girls by buying them drinks. If you did that, you will be out 5-10,000 bahts by the end of the night and have nothing to show for. Just go in, buy a drink for yourself and make your best offer. This strategy was taught to me by a Singapore businessman who now resides and owns a big business in BKK. He had scored many using this technique without buying all these drinks and go home alone.

Blessed be the generosity of Lucky666 and his membership for popping my cherry at Caribbean. Oddly enough, although I literally live 1 minute from this gentlemen’s club, I had never been in there before last Friday.
In what follows, my first impressions.
This place must have been a warehouse for space shuttle-parts before it became a club. The ceiling is at least 40 meters high and you could easy have 3 basketball courts inside. Upon arrival some kind of musical dance performance was in progress on the stage in the front of the club. There was choreography, but not to much. Despite the fact that we were literally surrounded by waiters and mamasans, the bottles took quite while to appear. After some initial refreshments, Lucky and me went upstairs to the sideliner room. Just like Orbit, Caribbean has the bar-dancers - who were yet to appear “en masse”, but who were already scurrying around - and sideliners – who will sit with you all night (if you were so inclined) instead of the 15 minutes you get from the dancers.
I always feel a bit pressured standing in a circle full of girls and having to take a pick.
Despite my rapid choice, this 20 –year old girl turned out to be quite a stunner. Especially her voluptuous lips and facial expressions intrigued me. Her body was petite, accentuated and muscular. She had cute little feet with almost perfect toes. My foot-fetish requires me to be extremely cautious with statements like that, but the curvature, lineation and morphology of the heel, Achilles tendon and toes were flawless. She was playful with a good attitude, but reserved to a certain extent. Which I consider a good thing.
At about 10, the dancers started parading on the bar behind us and the stage in front of us. Any heterosexual in the house was wishing for more eyes as a high percentage of these girls were stunners. Same quality as Orbit, but more of them. Much more. For 15 minutes, there seemed to be coming no end to the endless stream of female manna. My sideliner jokingly wiped the drool from my mouth a couple of times. I wasn’t really dribbling, but it was close a couple of times.
After about 30mins, these birds left their aforesaid location and mingled amongst the (all Asian) crowd. The stage lights popped on again and what followed was a cabaret reminded me about the opening scene of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Despite the awkward presence of skinny Thai Guys wearing diapers was the performance was beautifully choreographed and executed. But instead of Kate Capshaw the protagonist of the show was an Asian beauty, whose breast were a medical marvel. Except for the diaper-dudes, her entourage was all female and all yummy. Truly an eye pleasing and delightful spectacle.
I was getting more and more entranced by the little manners my sideliner (not to mention the constant flow of Hennessy) and was planning on taking her out for a night of romancing. Upon hearing the 4000B bar fine policy I decided to keep my urges under control and see what the rest of the night would have in store. Apparently most of the Caribbean girls are spoiled by the nightly presence of sexually frustrated and financially exuberant Korean and Japanese patrons who tip these girls 10.000 baht without even taking her out.
The financial hangover became also apparent when the bill arrived. Lucky666 is a member there, so the booze came for “free”; but for the 3 of us, with one girl each for about 2 hours, the total came still to 5.300B.
Maybe deep down inside, this left me with the feeling that you don’t really get what you pay for. Call it the “Piano-syndrome”. Maybe it’s just me being used to (or expecting) too much, but if I pay 10.000 (drinks + barfine + tips) baht for a night with a beautiful girl, I want the shag of this and my next life, I want my dishes done and my place spic and span. I do not however want just a cock tease.Don’t get me wrong, I think it is the attitude of the guests that is polluting the minds of these girls and turning them into money hungry leaches.
Despite the price, I like places like Caribbean, Orbit and Forte, due to the superior *exterior* quality of the women and the entertainment. But only when I just got paid.

These gals, the wrapper is a lot better than the candy. I do think though that the quality of the women has gone down since the move from Club 20.
One gal from Club 20 was making well in excess of 250k Baht per month and she was so hot she got bought out to work at some club in Indonesia. I wonder if she survived. One of the most perfect gals I've ever seen Jean, no longer works there.
But they mainly cater to Japanese and Korean now. Japanese guys will stop at nothing to impress or get a girl. It always cracks me up because I get more action from the girls than they do and I don't tip them anything. If you go there enough, you'll notice a lot of the same guys go there every night. Some tip the same gal 10k almost every night and get no action whatsoever. One guy I know there has been chasin one of the girls for over a year now and hasn't even taken her out. He said she doesn't go out. Funny thing was I spotted her at Slim on her day off with some other dude, I didn't have the heart to tell him.
I tell ya though, after you get to know these girls on a personal level, they aren't even attractive anymore. 4000B barfine, you can do a lot better elsewhere.
Carribean is big because it used to be this big Brew Pavillion type restaurant called Rongna. But it is a money making machine now and I'm just glad my good friends that work there can make a good living...

In carribean, the main revenue stream is still from local thai customer. As far as foreigner, Singaporean, japanese and korean, taiwanese, are defintely the major cash flow contributer. The owner (s) of carribean also own Exotica and monroe. He did extremely well with this club, He recover his cost in about 6 month after opening and rest is just gravy.
I agree with badfishlbc and hyper, I does not care for the atmosphere and setup. But this club have the most volume of girls. this attract the customer flow. And the volume of customer is attract more girl from other clubs to defect to carribean. This is what make carribean the busiest G-club in town.
As far as girl, I post this following comment on another thread
" Well, my advise is these places (G club, orbit, etc..) are good place to browse and find the gik or mia noi. But I had never seen any girl from these place became and "accepted" into Mia luang. In asian society, the class division is still very visible. The majority of HiSo asian guy who go to these place will have at one Hiso Mia Luang at home and maybe a few mia noi on the side.
