Dear members - I'm a white guy (25yrs). On my last visit to Bangkok I stayed at the Bavana hotel near Patpong and Thaniya Road. On my last night there I walked down Thaniya and saw a sight that nearly made me cum in my pants. All these beautiful girls all dressed up looking good. I hear that these girls only cater to Japanese men. Is this true or do they make exemptions? I really would like to check this place out if I can, possibly early in the evening. What do you think? Do I have a chance?

some of these bars do accept also farangs but on japanese prices. so i doubt that you will have as much fun as in other places. also do not forget all bars put some stunners outside to catch clients -> so the selection inside probably isn't that favourable anymore!

Or... at least in most cases... you can go with a Japanese member of the club. I have a Japanese expat on my staff and this does not seem to present a problem if they want to bring an expat as a guest. But (this is great)... if I try to go back to the same club without my "member" as an escort... forget it.
INHO there is a "forbidden fruit" syndrome here to some extent.... I've been inside of a number of these joints and the ladies are not any different up close and personal than the other better clubs... or 33. And the Jap clubs are gawdawful boring, even if someone else is paying.
There's probably a great business opportunity here though... for a Japanese guy who wanted to charge for arranging entry for all the curious non-Japanese soi dogs out there...

if you want to meet these same girls outside, try narcissus night club, four wings, and on very rare cases siam hotel after 2am.
i've never been to thaniya, but have had the luck to meet and play with these girls.

You better just stay away...Odds are you can find more appreciation from other places for less..The Japanese have always been known to piss money like no tommorrow..I'm sort of glad that they have a 10 year reccession, keeps the prices low...As a young guy, you should not have any problems picking up a beautiful girl for far less...

Probably the best way for farang to use Thaniya is as 'inspiration' before hitting Patpong. You're right there anyway if you get off the BTS at Sala Daeng. The eye-candy at street level is certainly quite wonderful - many of the Thaniya girls really are among BKK's finest.
Two pubs on Thaniya where you can have a drink and a pretty good meal are O'Reilly's (Irish) and The Barbican (British modern). There are several tables at the Barbican which look out over the street.
