I was at the Hard Rock Cafe in Siam Square last night. The TG I had a "date" with wanted to go there, thought I would fill you in. I did not find a thread on this place.
I went about 10:30 and the place was pretty packed. No cover charge. I would say the Thais outnumbered the falang. Some guys with TGs but LOTS of TGs in groups at tables and hanging at the bar. Women outnumbered guys about 2/1. I would assume many of them are available, but certainly not all. I saw at least three TGs that were alone when I walked in and then were hanging on someone when I left.
The band had about 7 guys, horns, the works. Really good. Not really a dance floor, but plenty of room to move around and groove near the tables to the right. There is a 2nd and 3rd floor, I did not go up there.
Drinks are not cheap, but they had a 120 baht Kloster beer special. One beer and one breezer was 400 baht. It is a good thing the girl I was with gets drunk on just 2 drinks, as she severly curtails her alcohol intake (and my bill). We were there 2+ hours and she had one breezer and lots of water. She was dancing up a storm.
As a side note, while I was with my TGDate, I couldn't take my eyes off of a TG with a short-dress and a "f_uck-me look" to her. ShortDressHottie is really moving that sweet little body. She was with a guy (falang) but kept looking over at me, winking, etc. Totally flirting. OK, sweetie, let's see what you're all about. I gesture to her to meet me over by the toilet and I head off. None of this is seen TGDate, who BTW I am now in love with!  Sure enough, ShortDressHottie comes over and I tell her how hot she is and that I want to call her. She tells me her phone number faster than I can get my mobile out to type it in! Next day, call her and I am meeting her at 8:00pm. Bye bye to TGDate, I guess 
All in all, I give the Hard Rock a thumbs up for bringing a TG out for a rocking good time, watch the drink prices and I think you might be able to pick up a FLer there, with little effort. A good night.

Each to their own but I hate the place...
Music too loud so you cant chat with your TG. (Obviously a plus in some circumstances). Food pretty grim. Some of the freelancers pretty hard core - loosening themselves up before they crossover to CM2. At least you can get a decent look at them unlike in CM2.
