Pubs/Clubs at Kaset-Nawamin Rd seems to be the preferred location for Thai Bands concerts nowadays judging from the entries at http://thaipoppers.com/live/index.shtml.
Eg: Gecko Club, Gotcha Pub, The Immortal, Seven Pub & Restaurant, Camp of Havana, Yes Indeed, Jungle Fever.
Brudders, what's the most convenient MRTA station to reach these pubs/clubs? Cos I wud like to attend Big Ass concert at Jungle Fever at Kaset-Nawamin Rd (on the 1st Oct) but I have no idea how to get there.
Please help...

was at 'yes indeed' the other day & this area is way outside the mrt & bts system in the ramintra/intramara area I believe it's called north east of bkk.

Of those, prefer Gotcha and Yes Indeed. Haven't been to Camp of Havana yet... haven't even seen the sign. There are many more places out that way to enjoy as well.

So were you there for the Taxi Concert? I am much of a Taxi fan myself, wish I was there...
Their songs brings me back to Bangkok one year ago, of much happier times...

Get them to talk to the taxi driver. That normally works.

noticed the add for taxi concert few days after I was there & yes I'd loved to attend as I got the CD on last trip & suppose you could call me fan 
I was just there by random luck at yes indeed just followed friends who though they're going to rongnam brew house without realising it was now caribbean!
anyways at least at yes indeed staff spoke some english just as most decent pubs & it ain't really that far off the radar so...
