Had a chance to visit Barong last night. Barong is a new G club built by the same owner as caribbean. The two clubs are connect by a passage way next to the stage.
The Staff and mamasan is mostly transferred from Exotica. As Exotica is closed temporarily for renovation. Barong's decor is spacious and elegant with a large stage. It have very elaborated stage show and singing. This place offer a much softer and mellower place to hang out as compare to Caribbean.
As I know most of the mamasan and PR since they are former exotica staff. It is hard for me to be objective in ranking them, Other people will have a more objective view.
Overall, it is like caribbean with more elegant setting and show. However, it does not have as much dancer and music is much more of easy listening. Personally, I think most farang will get bored of this place as it is more asian oriented. The night I was there, I did not seen a single farang in Barong, but in Caribbean, there are quite a few farang.
